Simple Roth provides approximate planning estimates and may not reflect every federal or state tax rule, adjustment, exemption, credit, deduction, interaction, or change in law. It is not tax-preparation software and does not provide tax, legal, accounting, investment, or financial advice.

Its results should not be used by themselves to prepare a tax return or make an important financial decision. You are responsible for checking your inputs and verifying important decisions with an appropriately qualified professional. Although I have made reasonable efforts to make the calculator useful and accurate, I do not guarantee that its results are complete, current, or correct for your circumstances.

Information you enter

Simple Roth does not require an account. The calculator is designed to perform its financial calculations locally in your browser, and I do not intentionally receive or store the figures you enter.

Please do not enter confidential information such as Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or information identifying another person.

AI-generated tax information

Simple Roth uses the Google Gemini API to summarize and explain general tax regulations. It sends Google only general tax-law text or questions about tax rules — never the figures you enter into the calculator. Simple Roth currently uses Google's unpaid Gemini API service; under Google's current terms, API inputs and responses may be used to improve its products and may be reviewed by authorized personnel.

AI-generated summaries may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. They are general information only — not tax, legal, accounting, investment, or financial advice. Verify anything important using official sources or a qualified professional.

Technical, security, and analytics information

Simple Roth is hosted through Cloudflare, which provides website delivery, security, bot protection, and analytics. Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address and approximate location, browser and device details, pages viewed, and request, security, performance, and error logs. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies; Cloudflare security services, including Turnstile, may use cookies or similar browser storage when necessary to protect the site.

This information is used to protect the site, understand general usage, and diagnose problems — not to build advertising profiles. Simple Roth does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking, does not sell personal information, and does not share information with advertisers, so it does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

Cloudflare and Google process information under their own terms and privacy practices, which I do not control. Restricting cookies in your browser may prevent security or site features from working correctly.

Warranties, liability, and governing law
